People suck?

Well on May 30th, we had gone out and when we returned home we found our dog missing. We thought he had ran away, today not so sure. He had gotten off of his chain plenty of times before and always stayed in the yard" We were putting up flyers and this woman pulled up to us and WITHOUT even looking at the flyer she asked "Are you looking for a young white pit bull?" I responded with a big "YES" in hopes she would tell us where he was and asked "Do you know where he is?" With an akward moment of silence she replied with "Well are you offering a cash reward" I said "No I am sorry we do not have the money, my husband just lost his job and we have a 15 month old son, and just dont have the money to give but we really want our dog home, please tell me where he is, we have his sister and she is miserable without him" She stated " ahhhhh, well where do you live" I told her and she said "Well he is in your area, very close" I said "WHere is he?"
