How to make myself have a fever?

ok, so i have a cold but no fever. I'm sneezing,coughing, congested, and i feel terrible. But my mom wont let me stay home without me having a fever or throwing up. I hate throwing up so that's out of the question, my mom feels my face and arms to be sure that i have a fever. then usually a thermometer.so how do i make myself have a fever?
