A question for an Army recruiter?

I'm currently in DEP. The max height for my MOS is 73 inches. Since I swore in, I've been measuring in at between 73.5 and 74 inches. Will this affect me shipping? One recruiter says it will and I will news to recl while the station commander says it won't matter. They will make an exception for the height. I'm trying to find out for sure because I can't afford to not ship
