Cleaning a dog's ears?

My dog is a lab/mastiff mix, 5 years old. We got him from the pound 3 years ago, and he has a chronic bacterial infection in his ears. We have tried the most powerful antibiotic on th emarket, drops and oral, yogurt, garlic, vitamins, cleaning daily, etc., and nothing has worked. I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions for solutions for cleaning out his ears. We are currently using half apple cider vinegar and half distilled water, but this only seems to work when we use it daily, and I hate putting my dog through that. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Hi, I am trying to figure out what I owe for my Q1 federal tax estimate for 2010. I am a member of an LLC who owns 50% of the company. I understand that I have to pay 15.5% for self employment tax, but I am confused beyond this? Everything I have read says that you need to refer to your 2009 tax return and do some calculations to figure your average tax rate. Thing is, I filed jointly with me wife last year and had no US income because I moved to the US from Canada in November. So, I have no idea how to figure out what my tax rate would be. In short to figure out what I owe I need to multiply my earnings from the LLC by 15.5% and then multiply that number by my tax rate (I need to figure out what number that is). Thanks for your help!

When to start Potty training my 18 month old?? IS the signs there?

My son is 18 months. I don't know if its time yet or not. We have potty training seat in our bathroom. He'll sit on it and he'll play with the flushing it. Also he likes to flush our toliet. BUt no real sign of him sitting down when he's peeing or pooing. I know some kids train as late as 3 or so I hear. I just don't wnat the signs to be there and I"m over looking them.

Divorce Advice... Catholic, but not married in the Church?

If he was not married in the Catholic church then the church is "out of the picture" so to speak. He can get a divorce and does not need to get an annulment. He is able to marry through the Catholic church but he will need to take the Pre-Cana cles (marriage prep) etc. when the time comes. I would highly recommend he go to confession and "confess" this divorce so he can talk things over with his priest. Being Catholic, I know he has to be feeling guilt about an impending divorce, whether it's his fault or not. Going to confession will help him deal with that.

My first trip to Vegas Baby?

I am planning on taking my first trip to Las Vegas August of 2011 and will be there Fri. to Mon. and I had some questions. 1st My mother is one of the Managers of the Palmer House Hilton downtown Chicago So I can get the best suite at any Hilton or Hilton ociated hotel for free. I was thinking of the Hilton Vacation Suites on the strip has anyone stayed there and could tell me any thing good or bad about also can I have any suggestions on any other Hilton Hotel or ociated hotels on the strip (I will be 23 so I really want to be on the strip lol). Second since all I want to to is club ( I don't gamble) I was thinking to go to maybe 2 different clubs a night. I am going to get bottle service at 1 club minimum any suggestions on which clubs to get bottle service at and which clubs to go to in general. Also should I buy one of those VIP p packages I really don't want to wait in line all while im there so is there any good sites for those. OK, at first I thought this would suck because having Brady means you took him first round and rule #1, NO QBs in the FIRST ROUND!!! but at a closer look, this is a solid team. Brady...is Brady. Barber is overrated because I don't see him breaking 1,000 rushing yards this year plus he's a Cowboy. LOL No, but still. I LOVE Jones, he a football 5-tool guy! The acceptance rates are getting lower and lower, so you better have written a Pulitzer prize novel or something to get in this coming year. Good luck, apply if you feel like spending the money. I'm upgrading from an old Speedtouch 580 on an ADSL line because the wiFi signal won't reach the farthest room (possibly due to copper hot water tank in the way?). I tried a Belkin but the connection would drop after a few hours. I know N is better than the old b/g standards but what substantial benefit is there over N150 or N300 (probably Belkin)? Major hiccups help!!!?

so all my life i've had weird load painfull hiccups; but lately i've been getting the hiccups 2 or 3 times a day, i googled some stuff and it said stuff about ater eating and laughing but i doubt thats it, i laugh ya but its not like i laugh or eat and tbhen hiccup, its always at weird times and they last long. is there anything wrong with me or my hiccups? they're really painfull, is that normal?

Jamaal Charles had the highest rush average, Dexter McCluster is a great reciever, Leonard Pope and Tony Moeaki are both great tight ends (blocking and recieving wise), and Tamba Hali is a monster of a linebacker who I think has the potential to be one of the best. What they lack is a defense and a good QB. Not that they are awful in those areas, it's just that their defense isn't outstanding and I can't see Matt Cel ever being a top ranked QB. This is halarious. Mydaughter called today and told me that her 3 young kittens got locked out of where their litter box is last night, by accident. She woke this morning and noticed that it smelled in the bedroom, looked around the floor, didn't see anything. Slept out on the couch till morning. This whole time her live in boyfriend is asleep in the bed. When she went back in the bedroom, she noticed the smell, and looked around some more, under the bed, etc. Then she looks ON the bed, and her boyfriend is asleep on his side. Up an down the side of his body is 5 different piles of cat poop. All different shapes and color, so she knew it was all three of them. Of course he was covered up with the comforter, so it wasn't on his skin. By this time I was laughing my *** off, and so was she. She could hardly tell the story, she was laughing so hard. I told her to check his shorts for skid marks. I can't understand WHY would these cats choose him to poop on? LOL

A question for an Army recruiter?

I'm currently in DEP. The max height for my MOS is 73 inches. Since I swore in, I've been measuring in at between 73.5 and 74 inches. Will this affect me shipping? One recruiter says it will and I will news to recl while the station commander says it won't matter. They will make an exception for the height. The ductless AC systems essentially put an air handler in each room of the house or at least in each main area. For older houses where you can not actually put in ductwork the ductless systems may be the way to go. As to heat pumps being efficient in colder weather. The newer style heat pumps are only efficient down to around 30 degrees so yes the most bang for your buck would be a combo of heatpump with oil/gas radiant heat. This is uming you will be keeping the house more than 5 yrs. Really 15k for a 1940s existing 2 story house is not that bad. It is of course advised to get at least 3 estimates which are free from any reputable dealer out there.

How do I clean a fleece saddle pad?

I have a fleece pad I use for showing and normally just wash it with regular detergent and a warm/cold water or just cold water. I then hang it out to dry, drying it in a dryer will shrink. Try some bleach if it needs to be whiter. Also try washing it by itself, I do that with mine b/c its usually covered in horse hair, but other colors could bleed and etc.

Can a dog survive antifreeze poisoning if its treated more than 12 hours after ingestion?

My dog got antifreeze friday night and we couldnt get transportation to the vet and get her on the antidote until about 14 hours after she ingested it. The blood test was still showing positive for antifreeze and she got quite a lot. Its been more than 48 hours now and her kidneys are still functioning ok.....is she out of the woods yet?

The best guitar I ever bought was a 12 string Samich. I bought it in a pawn shop. To me it had everything, a beautiful sound and a great action. It felt part of me when I played it. i have tropical fish, and one of them is a little red guppy. i think he's really sick, his scales are lifting, a couple have fallen off. It says it can be caused by to much protein, I do feed my black ghost knife bloodworms could it be that he eats to many of them and not enough flakes? Scary rashes my body but non specific?

Hi! I recently broke out in rashes that develops pimples together with the rash and I've been to the GUM clinic and none of them know what it is. They taken my blood samples for HIV, syphillis etc and will have the results in 4 days. I was tested negative 3 months after exposure and another one after 8 more months but that time for hiv only. I do not understand why I would suddenly break out wit these rashes if I am indeed negatve from std's? I tried anti-histamine and anti-inch cream to no avail. My rashes don't ulcerate, no tumour, and they itch. thats how I notice them they would itch before thet turn into rahes with bumps. I will see my Gp if i get an "appointment" that is but what could this be? I did put a new bed under my collapsing bed and I did changed soap to something that I've used before. Any enlightenment?

Roland KC-300 vs KC-550?
